google music app refresh?

How do I refresh my google music app so it shows the latest music that has been upload to the cloud server from my computer? There is music that is avialable on google.com/music but does not yet show up on my phone to be streamed. I am going nuts trying to figre this out.

I came across this thread trying to find the solution for the same problem. Eventually I figured it out, so I figured I'd stop back and let you know how to do it.

The music app syncs on the same schedule with the rest of your Google account. If you have your account set to auto-sync, your music should do so at the same time. However, you can manually sync your account so you don't have to wait.

On your phone, go to Settings/Accounts/[your Google account]. Make sure that "Sync Music" is checked (if it is not, then your music will never sync, even with the auto-sync). You can then press the menu button and select "Sync now" to manually sync your account.

All your music should now be up-to-date.

Thanks, that was a great help. I was going nuts because my music app wasn't showing any of the music I had uploaded. I'd had no problems with the app or the service until recently. I double-checked all the settings in the app and thought I was going crazy.

Turns out that the last time the service had synced was, shockingly, the day I left the country. I returned 3 weeks later and my phone decided to play only the music that was on the SD card.

Luckily, it's syncing now. I would never have thought to dig into the accounts settings.
