Pandora for Android Tip
Here's a little tip to get around that pesky 6 skips per hour limit on your stations. Once you reach your limit, simply just change to another station and then back and you'll have six more skips to burn. Repeat as needed and... shhhh! Don't tell Pandora. This is one bug I don't wanna see fixed. Also if they butchered their mobile app with ads like they have with the PC version I'd be angry.

# ADS

I've got to admit, I caved and went ahead and paid the donation to release the skip limit and get rid of the ads. Been real happy with it since I did. Still love Pandora. Don't mind supporting them at all.

I like Pandora. How to you add or change channels?
(Can you with the free one?)
Sorry - totally new at this.
(Another way to get around the skip if it's REALLY bad is to close Pandora and reopen it. It will start with a new song.)

I'm thinking I might do that as well, jkhonea. Though somedays they just play one great song after another and it's perfect, but then other days they play every song I don't want to hear. It's weird.

I like pandora. I was opposed to it at first, but i have no idea why, lol. But now i'm liking it more and more.
I did have one question though. When i do a thumbs up or down, am i lettting know if i like the song or not, so that way it learns what i like? I'm trying to figure out if i should keep trying to press the thumbs up or down or not.

Yes, thumbs up or down helps it figure out the dynamics of what songs to pick for you next. It really does a good job changing selections. I've found that out.

Ok. ya thats what i was thinking but i didn't know for sure. Thanks.

Kinda like how it keeps throwing Korn at me and I flipping hate Korn... I think I've "thumbs downed" 25 of their songs by now and it keeps finding new ones for me I don't want to hear.
Outside of that - it plays 90% stuff I like.
So it's worth dealing with.

Yeah I wish there was thumbs down button to keep certain bands from playing. I hate to say it but there are some bands I dislike for reasons other than their music, regardless off whether it's similar to music I like.

I just downloaded slacker, and they have an option so you can ignore entire artists. I was like ohh. I didn't know you could do that, lol. IDK which one is better. I think Pandora still. Its much easier of an interface. Plus its on my surround sound system. So it'll be easier for me to keep up with it vs two music things, lol.
