Androlib.com problem
I was able to view the site, I made an account, went to my email and verified the account, went to sign in, which it let me view avatars to choose one for my account, then all of a sudden the screen said HTTP 403 Forbidden...I have tried several times to get back to the site, but I keep getting that error....Anything I can do?? Thanks!

What does androidlib offer compared to appbrain?
-
Honestly, I dunno.....I was just going thru the thread yesterday on must have apps & a bunch of people mentioned it, so I thought I would give it a try...my computer wont let me access it at all now! On my PC or my phone!

I also had trouble getting to androidlib, then OK from a different machine.
Do try AppBrain

I just went there and had no problems did you try closing your browser and clearing your history? I used to go to AndroLib a lot because you can search for apps and then use a bar scanner to find the app in the market, but it's really not needed now that the Market is online. I like AppBrain better then AndroLib for that fact that it has more user reviews then just the Market ones. I can't get it to sync with my phone for downloads though.

You have to download and install the Appbrain app on your phone before you can sync to Appbrain on the web.

Yes, I did try to restart computer and clear history....I cannot get to it from my phone either, it let me once, then my phone rebooted...now I cant. The thing I did like at androlib better than appbrain was that you could start typing in the name of the app and it would find what you were looking for, in case you didnt have it right...otherwise, I am able to use appbrain just fine...just find it a little irritating!!
It took me a minute to find out that when your using appbrain, you not only have to open appbrain on ur phone, but when you choose to install and app on your computer and you press install, you also have to press sync with appbrain in the bottom left of your phones screen, before they will send the app to your phone....then you have to install them thru appbrain also....

I haven't really used Appbrain much since they updated, I got frustrated because it would update or install one app then be 'loading' forever then come up with a server error. The online Market works fine on my phone now so that's what I've been using, less steps.
