Internal 8mb and apps.
How long before apps start to recognize the internal storage the Incredible has? I have yet to find a music player that sees anything but the SD card. I keep my music on the internal memory because there's a lot more room in there than my free 2g SD card, but I'm stuck with the HTC music player. I don't mind too much because I like it, but if I want do anything else like edit tags or something, I'm screwed.
I know I could go buy a bigger SD card and put my music there, but I'm feeling stubborn and belligerent about the whole thing. How hard can it be to give apps access to what amounts to a built-in SD card? GRRR!

I was wondering the same thing. Best thing to do is contact the developers and let them know. Many don't have the incredible so it never hurts to make them aware that they need to set this up.

I found a thread on the TuneWiki site where the admins said they are aware of the problem and it's a problem on HTC's side and HTC is looking into it.

Interesting. I will contact some developers on my end to see what they say

Check Astro Media Player. You direct it as to where the playlists and files are located. I have it on mine but haven't checked that yet. But I do know I have music on the internal memory that the Astro recognizes just fine. I haven't tried mixing sources yet but will.

The Incredible came with a few music files loaded in internal memory. Today, I added 100 files to my 16gb microSD card. In shuffle mode, the native player is picking files from both internal and external memory. I did not set up a playlist yet.

I believe Astro defaults to the SD card. Click the "Up Folder" button in the top menu and it will show the internal.
