dh and I use latitude so I can see where he is all the time.. with him being a truck driver never know where he's going to end up.. and then when he's on his way home instead of bugging him going "how much longer?" all the time I can see where he is and how long it should take him to get home..

since you asked so politely... 3 times in 3 minutes...

I've been using it so long I can't quite remember if latitude was already set up or if I had to go into maps first.. but in your apps list click on latitude... then click the plus sign and then either select from contacts or add via email address.. on the opposite phone accept the other person and add them back... on each phone make sure to hit menu>privacy and have it set to "detect your location" and it will update automatically...
this will obviously require you to have gps on if you want the other person to see where you are.. sometimes it can be a bit behind.. I don't see a way to set it to sync every so often or anything.. like right now I know my dh is in Virginia, and I just talked to him so I know he is sitting still, but the last time it says his was updated was 48 minutes ago... not really sure why...
