This has got to be one of the coolest apps I have downloaded. It turns your phone into a scanner. Listen to your local police and fire or tune in to ones all across the country. Was just listening to the LAPD a few minutes ago. Really cool.

Yeah, I really like this app. There was an older scanner app that I had which was a poor product, but this one is perfect. I wish that my town would have theirs online, but I am still able to hear some nearby towns.

I enjoy listening to the small towns to see what's going on there

I use Police Stream (paid) and it comes up with a lot of them in High Quality.

Hmm, sounds interesting, I'll give it a try. On a side note, have any of yall heard of an app that turns your phone into an FM transmitter. I know it has a FM receiver, but idk about a transmitter.

Yeah the Android version is much better than the iPhone version IMO.

I like this app too. I hail from a family of firefighters so I impressed everyone with this app lol

downloaded this app because of this thread, and I have to say it's really nice / interesting!
