Mass texting apps for incredible!??!

Ok, so I have a group in my phone with 300+ members that I frequently send updates(via text)...I unboxed this bad boy only to find that android stock sms limits me to 20 recipients, I've tried, group sms, chompSMS, texteasy etc, none seem to work well(some not at all) on 2.1...chomp being the best it sent but after about 100 it started popping up telling me the phone was sending alot of sms messages and had to click ok for every text afterwards(annoying)... I love the phone just wondering if anyone knows an easy way for me to do this, i'm not against spending a few bucks on an app that works 100% for 2.1 but I don't want to waste any money on one that doesnt...I read that certain ROMs will allow me to do this without use of an app... any advice? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure as i don't even have 100 contacts lol. There are currently no roms out so its not possible of them letting you do this yet. There may be an app on the market but i'm not sure.

So I figured it out. The reason chompsms wasn't working was because I had a few dead or landline numbers in the group I was sending to. Still slow and after 100 messages I'm prompted and have to click ok for each but it beats sending 20 at a time like the stock sms... I really hope there will be a Rom or app that fixes this soon...

Tried Handcent? Not sure it allows more but it might. I have no friends so I can't test it ;-)

I'm looking for this in a different manor. I want an app that will spam the same text message as fast as possible to a single number. My local radio station does text contests all the time and I'm sure i could help my chances a lot with an app like this.

I think the app you're looking for is called smsbomber...haven't tried it out yet, but supposedly does just that, mass text to the same number, let us know if it works!
