I really like launcher pro. Not a huge departure from sense, but the multi-dock and landscape view are awesome.

using ADW, really liking it... tried LauncherPro but prefer ADW.
Few stand out things for me:
- can put 2 shortcuts / folders on dock bar
- can flick up dock bar and put 6 shortcuts / folders
so 8 shortcuts off my main screen... sweet. (i am anti-clutter)
- home screen horizontally (if we had a car dock, this would be great for navigation)
** speed - holy smokes app draw flies now... don't know how or why, just enjoying that it is!

will post couple pictures soon - haven't experimented with how to take screenshots yet.

There are a lot of different home replacements but the 3 popular ones seems to be LauncherPro, ADW and Helix.

I dont personally use one because i love Sense UI and you will not be able to use the Sense widgets or anything else having to do with Sense if you install a home replacement.

I have to agree. I love the Sense UI and the other home screens didn't look aesthetically pleasing as Sense ui did for me.

Ok, since my as post there was an update for launcher pro and now it is beyond unstable. So I'm thinking I'm going to try another. One that I found thats pretty neat is Android Mate. Its very utilitarian and has no widgets, but still neat.

I've been using adw for a couple of days now. I really like what it offers, but the only way i've been able to stop constant force closes is to reduce the screen count to 3. Coming from a Droid, this isn't too big of a deal for me. Especially since there are so many dock options for frequently used apps. Also... might be wrong, but it seems like my battery life has improved quite a bit since using it. Will keep an eye on it for a few more days to see if it's for real.

If I try one of these, will it screw up my scenes I have set up in Sense? (Like if I have them saved?)

Say if I don't like it, and want to go back.

These don't actually replace Sense they just run instead. So if you don't like it you just reset the default back to Sense.

launcher pro you can have 15 flickable (5 each screen) on the dock bar. i really like launcherpro. adw lags for me for some reason and the two shortcuts at the dock is too little for me.
