Best FM transmitter for the INC?
I've gotten a few cheap ones in the past that have worked from decent to relatively well, but all turned completely useless within a few months. Ironically enough those cheap ones worked way batter than an expensive one I bought once that didn't work at all.
So my question is what's a good FM Transmitter that isn't ridiculously over priced?

I've used Belkin TuneCast for my ipod.... Although I have upgraded my vehicle's head unit which now allows me to plug anything with a USB or headphone jack directly into it.... fancy....

That's actually the one I originally bought and returned it the next day, not a single station worked for me.

hmmm... One of the big reasons I stopped using it was because it didn't charge my ipod touch... even though it said it is compatible with it. I tried a few but gave up and went the route of upgrading my tunes so I could have the flexibility of connecting my ipod, dinc or even laptop. I know that doesn't help... sorry
I have heard good things about Monster FM transmitters. I think the model is either radio play or iplay...

I dont think any fm transmitters work perfectly and I have tried a few different ones. So far the best and the one I use now is the Jabra sp700 hands free speaker kit. I snagged mine on Ebay for $12.

Here is the one I use with a review I wrote on another site awhile ago. I've been using it for about six months now and it works great.
NEW MOTOROLA T505 PORTABLE HANDSFREE BLUETOOTH CAR KIT
I got this about 2 weeks ago after I saw my sister in law using it in her car. I love it. It works great and is easier to use than any fm transmitter I've used in the past because it makes it easy to find channels to tune into. I felt great yesterday when I saw it in staples for $130 dollars after paying $55's online.

I use it with my Incredible and it sounds better than any fm tranmitter I've used before. It you enter an area where you start hearing static, you press a button and it will change stations automatically and tell you what station to change your radio to. I use it for my Pandora Radio, A-Online Music and mp3's loaded onto my phone and it works great. It also has the added advantage of being a handsfree set. when someone calls it broadcasts their end of the conversation through the car speakers. If you are listening to music on the Incredible when someone calls it cuts in to let you know someone is calling and gives you the option of answering or continuing the music. It's pretty cool.

rather than that, I use the cassette from Sony which plugs into the Dinc and plays via the car's speakers themselves. BUT wife's new Lexus does not have a tape deck

I ended up buying another really cheap one at K-Mart that was on clearance for $5. It plugs right in the cigarette lighter and can tune into any station, so far it's working great and works better than all the other ones I've used in the past. They had a lot of them stacked there, so I'm considering going back and buying a few more of them as backups, since I don't think I'll ever find them for a better price anywhere else.

does it have a name brand on it? I'm curious what it is.

I've had several.. Belkin, Griffin, Monster... they all were horrible.. I almost didn't buy another one.. then I found the Satechi and it is actually amazing.. here's why... when I first plugged it in to set it up, I was listening to a very strong local station with the frequency of 107.9... as I plugged the Satechi in, my radio went dead silent.... the Satechi was also set at 107.9 and yes, it actually overpowered and silenced the strong local station.. I never even have to change channels when traveling.. Satechi Bluetooth FM Transmitter - eBay (item 230589033682 end time Feb-28-11 12:50:25 PST)
