Bad news for those waiting on the 3500mah extended battery from Seidio.

I spoke with a Seidio representative today, and while they didn't have a specific date for the release, they stated that it would be a few months. She said that it would most likely July at the earliest.

That really sucks, because I don't know if the 2150 HTC version will give me the amount of juice that I am hoping for out of the phone

Doh. I was kind of curious how much bulk the 3500mah batter was going to add to the phone. Depending on how much, I was planning on buying one.

Sometimes the representatives don't have a clue, and talk out their behind, so perhaps that's the case *wishful thinking*

I really hope so. I'm also hearing that the official HTC extended will not be out until Q3 or Q4, which is also a long period of time to wait. I guess I'm just used to being able to pick up an extended battery almost immediately with my old LG phones. I think they release one as soon as a new phone comes out.

That's what I don't understand. The Verizon stores say you can order a 2150 now and it will be sent to you. Maybe I'll drop by their store today and ask if that's a preorder or immediate delivery.

I considered just grabbing the 1750 slim extended from Seidio, but I just don't know think that a battery increase of that small would make it worth the 49.99 pricetag.

Yeah ive been told they are available now also. In fact im the one that posted you have to go to the store and order it. I have to go into Verizon tomorrow so i will check with them then.

If I can make it by there tonight, I'll post up and let everyone know what I find out. I kinda feel bad for the Verizon reps at the store. I don't know if it's their fault or if Verizon keeps them out of the loop.

Either way, nothing would surprise me.

Just called VZ on the phone. They have a SKU and price but, no inventory. THey say that this means it will be in the warehouse very soon.

That's hopefully some good news! I really didn't want to get a 2150mah version, but it's enough of a jump to show significant improvement in battery life, so I'll probably grab it. Worst case scenario, I'll have a really powerful backup when the 3500 comes out from Seidio.
