    Seidio 3500mah Extended Battery

I just got this in the mail the other day, and after the first couple days of usage, I am extremely pleased. I expected to get a lot more life compared to the extended slim 1750 version that I was previously using, but the battery life I've gotten has been awesome.

I did the full charge as instructed (it said to charge between 5-8 hours, and I charged for 6). I took it off the charger at 5:00 pm on Saturday night, and as of 8:25 PM tonight (Monday), I still have 17% battery life yet. That is a total of 51 hours so far.

During that time, I've used the GPS navigation for about an hour and a half, I've used the wireless connection to upload two videos to Youtube (about 40mb), I've downloaded about 30mb of random stuff. I've installed about 4-5 apps, and played many games. According to my stats, I've had a display time of about 5 1/2 hours. When I first took it off the charger, I also reinstalled the News and Weather widget, because even though I loved it, it was draining my battery. With this new battery, even if it is draining it a little, it's not enough to make it a big deal.

Yes, it's a little bulky (although not as bad as the images looked on their site), but the peace of mind that I can get with it is well worth it. The only thing that sucks that I'm not able to use my silicon case that I liked so much. I actually feel like I can make some setting adjustments that may hurt the battery a little bit, but will make the phone a lot nicer for me. Things like setting the news and weather widget to update a little more regularly.

I just got this battery and see below for a review (very interesting..)

I got the battery, put it in, it was at 50%, so I charged it, and let it stay in the charger for about 7 hours..

The next day the battery was perfect, after work when my old battery was pretty much dead, this guy was at 50% and then for the next 5 hours I tried to kill the battery by pandora, youtube, gps, no luck... I gave up at 10pm at night and went to bed with the battery at 30%.

The next morning I went to work again with 30% battery, and I turned it off while I was at work (i work in a skyscraper so my phone doesn't get reception and constantly searches for a signal which is why my phone went from 100% to 50% the first day I brought it to work). So i knew it would drain the 30% so I turned it off for about half the day. By the time I got home at 6 at night the battery was at 10%. I let it slowly drain down to 5% and then I charged it.

I charged it to 100%, and once it hit 100% I pulled it out. Within 5 MINUTES, my battery was at 60%!!! It went from 100 to 60 in about five minutes!! That might have been because I pulled my charger out once it hit 100%, I didn't know you had to keep it charging for an additional 2 hours EVERY time.. So that means from like 5% to 100% it took about 5 hours for it to charge.. Great...

I ended up just leaving it in the charger over night while I slept.

At work now and its at 80%, so I just turned it off. I think its draining a lot faster then it did the first day I had it.

    Am I doing something wrong??

    Tommy-

You may have a defective battery... Also have you tried topping of the battery on your incredible? I turn my phone off and charge it *seidio 1750* for about an hour or two and I find this to be very effective. I'd give that a shot in addition to charging it over-night when possible. If it stills can't hold a charge, then I'd definitely call of Seidio and see what they think. I don't have experience with their customer support, but they seem to be all over replacements

    Update:

My battery is fine. You have to charge it to 100% while its on. Then you have to turn OFF your phone and charge it until the light turns green, which could take about 1 hour. After you do that your battery is good to go for about 2 days!

Im probably going to get this battery. I could care less about size (I have big pockets), just as long as it lasts for a long while.
