Bluetooth remote for music on the motorcycle
First off, this is my first post on this forum. I followed the N1 drama until I gave up last week and pre-ordered a DINC. I had a my touch from t-mo and after horrible network issues, successfully got my contract dropped without paying the fine.
To the topic: I want to be able to use my DINC to listen to my pandora stations while on my bike. Simple enough, phone in pocket earbuds in. BUT, I want to be able to play/pause and control volume with a remote.
For my car I have the Motorola T505 (which is beyond awesome BTW) and all the functions worked on my MyTouch. I would like something like that, but only the bluetooth remote functions. Something small that can be velcroed to the control console on my bike. Preferably cheap enough that if it gets lost I don't have a heart attack.
In my googling I haven't found anything remotely (pardon the pun) close. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have a Jabra Bluetooth remote thingy that was in the shape of a dogtag. It was small and worked pretty well. All you would need to do is remove the chain and the clip and voila, exactly what you need. The Bluetooth remote is also aluminum so I won't rust and it's weatherproof. I got mine for about $30 I think. The model number is Jabra BT3030. It worked great for me and it might work well for you too!

That is exactly what I was looking for. Just purchased one on eBay. New phone while on new motorcycle, life is good.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

No Problem. I'm currently using mine for my PS3 lol. I felt weird wearing it around my neck like a real dogtag because the blue backlight is just awkward. Hope it does the job right for you. If it doesn't, there are many other options that you can use the dogtags for. Bluetooth devices have so many uses these days.

I have the Scala Rider G4 installed into my helmet. Works well (A2DP) and has much better audio than any previous Cardo product.
However... the folks at Parrot make one of the same type helmet headsets (A2DP) that comes with a remote. The Parrot is cheap, but lacks volume to my ears.

Not trying to sound too critical, especially on my very first post here, but while on your bike you don't need the distraction of music while trying to ride safely..... I love to ride more than anything else and have had too many close calls with drivers not paying attention. Perhaps having the distracion of earbuds in while riding isn't a very good idea.... Just my own opinion..... Keep it shiny side up!!!!!!!

I ride with music playing often, but, EarBuds !! You are looking to get hit while riding. I bought a bike with a radio and speakers to full fill my wish to listen to a radio. Ears Open for road noise always. Some states also make it illegal to drive/ride with earbuds in too.
As the Above person said, Keep the shiny side up, or as I like to say, tires on the pavement, where they belong. Be Safe, Watch out for the Crazies !!
I ride as if they are all out to run my butt off the road into a ditch. Have for the last 35 years plus !!!
