Evo 4G/6300/6200 battery compatible with the HTC Droid Incredible?

I recently ordered an HTC Incredible 3500 mAh battery off of Ebay. What I received in the mail states that it is the replacement battery for an EVO 4G/6300/6200. Visually, it seems compatible but I want to be sure it won't mess up my phone and will charge properly before I install it and try to use it. The last thing I need is a non-compatible battery frying my phone. Are these two batteries interchangable? Thanks!!

There are scads of offerings in Ebay for batteries listed as being for either the Incredible or the EVO 4G, so go for it.

I used an HTC branded EVO 4G/Incredible 1800mAh battery for my Incredible with absolutely no problems, it added quite a few hours use and still fit under the stock back cover.
