Music will not interrupt for GPS notifications
I really dig this phone and the new(er) Droid OS. It's sleek and powerful for business and pleasure.
Ran into an issue and was wondering if anyone knew of a fix.
I like to use my phone to navigate on my motorcycle. For this reason, I could (with my Incredible) listen to music on the phone's SD card, then set my Google Maps navigation to talk to me turn-by-turn. With my new 4G LTE, the music will not interrupt for navigation, it just keeps playing. I did try it with the streaming apps and they did stop while navigation was speaking.
I am not sure if this is an app issue, Droid OS, etc.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I was using the navigate/GPS and Google play music together yesterday with no problem. The music volume would go way down while navigation direction was given, then the music volume would for back up afterwards.

Check settings in both the NAV app and the music app. I noticed ther are several ways to set tone controls and a single check box can make for an annoying chase to locate the culprit. I'll look around and see if there's a setting buried somewhere and will post if I find anything.

I just started using the iBolt dock, and found that with the built-in music player from the "car" app, the volume does not decrease for GPS directions, but still does work with google voice. What is frustrating is that the navigate volume is no longer independent from main media volume. Listening to the music with google voice at a normal volume, the GPS voice is way to quiet, even with the music automatically lowered. With the built in music app, the volume levels(with same music file) are better matched, but the music volume doesn't auto lower...
