Any other way to get htc incredible 2 S-OFF?
I’ve just got a htc incredible 2 (Verizon) with Android version 2.3.4 andHboot 0.98.0000. I had it unlocked via HTCdev and rooted with Unlock Root toolsuccessfully, but the phone still S-ON. I tried to get it S-OFF in order to flasha ROM. So, at first I started downgrading to 2.3.3 and Hboot 0.97.0000 by usingthreads from [RUU] HTC Incredible 2 Signed RUUs (PG32IMG.zip) - Droid Incredible 2 / S - RootzWiki, and by running hack-vivow both automatically and manually, all of them didn’twork and the phone still remained 2.3.4 and 0.98.0000. Before I unlocked androoted the phone, I had also tried these ways, but it was not successful. Any ideawould be warmly appreciated. Thanks.

Downgrading and root succeeded! The problem of not downgrading lies in the hbootloader unlocked. So, after re-locking the hbootloader, everything worked well and my phone was finally downgraded and rooted. Thanks to those who post brilliant threads concerned. But cdma sim card is still not working in Myanmar. If anyone knows any solution to it, pls share your knowledge, I'm very appreciated.

the basic steps will be:
1)unlock with htcdev
2)flash recovery
3)flash superuser root files.
4)rewrite the misc image with adb and downgrade to froyo
5)re-unlock htcdev hboot
6)re-flash recovery
7)re-flash superuser root files and flash unrevoked's "forever" s-off patch

I also unlocked and rooted my phone in 2.3.4, but now can not s-off or downgrade. How did you s-off?
