Did you upgrade from the Inc to the Inc 2? Are you happy?
I'm eligible for an upgrade on Verizon.com and the Inc 2 is offered for free as a current promotion. I have no idea if this has been going on for a while or if it's brand new. I also now very little about the Inc 2.
I plan on staying with Verizon and I like Android. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this upgrade? I can't imagine why not but I'd love to hear from people who did upgrade and what their experiences have been.
Thanks so much!

I did that as a result of a damaged INC. The Inc2 is a great phone, and I really enjoyed it, and free is also great. BUT...
I'd look at the others offered as well, the Rezound is a great phone, sort of a bigger thicker INC1, and it's 4G, better, larger screen, and I've heard it can be obtained for a really good price. There are others as well, as well as next generation phones, which you will pay full price for...
If this purchase /free phone locks you into another 2 year contract, I'd look ąt cheaper 4G's(Rezound) or next generation. Or find a INC2 for sale on the open market so you don't extended your contact 2 years.
I should add that I now have the Galaxy Nexus and am extremely happy.

EFIN nailed it. I had the Inc2 as well and loved it, but I would completely recommend the Rezound. That being said, looks like the newest Inc is about to drop, so might be worth watching for that. Either way, I'd put out a little money and get the 4G device.

Thanks to both of you! I checked out the Rezound and it looks pretty good for $49.99. It has an LCD screen as opposed to the AMOLED... not sure if I should be concerned about that. I've lusted after the Nexus as well but at $299.99 I'll wait it out a bit more...

I honestly don't think you'd lose much going with the Rezound rather than the Nexus. I'm seeing a rather split group as far as one being liked over the other. I have seen a few switch from the Nexus to the Rezound. At $49.99, you'd have a great phone that's going to hold up quite awhile.

The Rezound screen is really nice even though it is LCD but you're not going to miss anything by upgrading to it. I've just upgraded my Dad's phone to the Rezound and he really loves it. I should add that I have the GNexus also, the Rezound was very high on my list as well, but I went with the GNexus knowing it will have more hacking development and I wanted to try something else besides Sense. My dad isn't into the hacks so I got him the Rezound, $50 is a great deal and he is very happy with it.

I also upgraded to the INC2 for free as a result of hardware failures with the INC1. I loved the INC1, but started having problems after a software upgrade, after 4 refurb replacements, they let me have a INC2 refurb for free. I am still eligible for an upgrade since it the upgrade didn't reset the every 2 clock. I also have the extended battery, depending on my usage, can go 2 or 3 days on a charge. Simple love this phone! My wife has the Thunderbolt and the 4G speeds are amazing. I really do love that additional speed, but other than that, don't see any reason to part with my INC2

Try the Nexus, then you may change your mind....

I have both phones active but I think the radios on the 2 are not as good as the original one, at least mine aren't.
