i really like this facebook app, but no matter what i try in the settings, the facebook contacts always show up under my phone button.
cancleing sync and removing the check mark does not work.
is there a option on Facebook that lets you stop syncing peoples numbers i dont want or need.
and the answer is not to delete those friends..lol

Have you tried going into people , menu, view see if they are checked/unchecked there as well?

i replied 2 times from my phone, but it didnt show.
this only shows when i use the dropdown menu, on the left of my phone button.
it does not show in the people ( or contact list)
i removed contacst from FB , that didnt work.
unless i delete all my friends that have there number on the Info tab i cant see anyway to use the HTC Facebook app unless they fix it.
i have about 140 of my contacts... (even this is to much...lol) i dont need 500 more!

Try logging out of facebook on the phone. You should lose all the sync'd contacts. Delete the app. Re-install the app and go through the intro process. Make sure to click such that it never syncs. That solved the problem for me on my Dinc1.
