Cyanogenmod7 Help!

Hey, this is my first android phone and i had been doing some reading and decided to root it. I rooted my incredible with unrevoked3 and everything seemed ok so i flashed the cyanogenmod 7.0.3 over to it as well. I love it but i am having a lot of random glitches with it. Random apps will force close and sometimes the browser wont load anything unless i clear the cache and reset the phone. I have had the app store not even show any of my apps under the my apps section as well as the messaging application not showing the keyboard when i pull up a message. The worst part is that something duplicated all of my pictures/videos/music but when plugged into a computer, the folders themselves only contain the files once so they only actually appear twice. Im not sure if i installed the rom incorrectly, although i believe i did everything right as i followed the directions step by step, or if the rom itself has bugs in it? Would it be worth trying one of the nightly builds? I also recently put the new incredikernal on it and which has helped the battery significantly, so thats one problem fixed.
