Today we released Ruby 1.1.1 for the Incredible, with it we did our best to knock out all the major bugs that we seem to have overlooked on our initial release.
All fixes include:
GPS
Bluetooth(we thought was fixed but have had reports to the contrary)
Camera/Camcorder
Media Scanning
RomManager has been causing issues for both Sapphire and Ruby users by applying the downloads out of order, the best way to work around this is to use RomManager download the files, and manually apply the downloads in recovery.
all downloads should be applied in this order: wipe>rom>gapps>boot and allow phone to load>reboot into recovery>apply theme
boot and allow phone to load>reboot into recovery, can be removed from the process but should you run into problems add those steps back in to see if the problem resolves.
For announcements,
CCRoms is now accepting code contributions. As we continue to grow adding more devices it keeps getting more difficult for only cvpcs and I to get everything going on the device and actually get features and bugs worked out. So now we are asking you guys to help with that.
The procedure to do so is just like cyanogenmod, fork our repo and make changes and submit a pull request.
sniffle, I installed ruby 1.1.1, but it just froze on the ruby boot animation (which is very nice, btw). Don't know if this is a common problem or not.
I tried installing last night and phone kept force closing after boot animation saying dialer stopped working or something....couldn't even begin with setup wizard and had to flash recovery back to skyraider......any ideas? I was looking forward to this ROM
UPDATE: Just found the right thread for help with this...nevermind

Morning all. Not sure about everyone else but my battery drains quick on Ruby. Here's a screen shot. I have SetCPU profiles active and screen set to auto brightness. In an hour it's already dropped from 100 to 87 and I havent used it. Here's a few screen shots of my setup. Any ideas anyone? snap20100910_073216.JPGsnap20100910_071541.JPGsnap20100910_073328.JPG
X-Iphone user and lifelong AT&T Basher. She has the DINC 2, daughter has the DINC and Im rockin the Razr MAXX.
Hrmm I have seen a lot of mentions of battery drain on the new 1.1.1, I was about to install it, used 1.1.0 for a week before needing GPS... My battery was amazing on 1.1.0, wonder if this is somehow due to GPS working on the new version, possibly staying on and draining battery?

I have everything off....wifi, gps, bluetooth...etc. Only turn them on when I need them.

Maybe try setting up a few more profiles and stepping the processor down more gradually. Here is my setup.
@animal, I just thought about this some more, my awesome battery life in Ruby came without using SetCPU. Under Settings/GEM Settings, the Ruby Rom had its own settings for a performance governor. I wonder if SetCPU and your profiles are conflicting with the Ruby settings, or if maybe the Ruby settings and governor are just better by themselves...
